By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Educational purpose

Content is provided for education and professional development. It does not replace manufacturer training, project procedures, client requirements, competent supervision, certification, risk assessment or professional judgement. Never rely on the platform as the sole basis for safety-critical offshore decisions.

Accounts

You must provide accurate information, protect your credentials and be responsible for activity under your account. You may not share an account, impersonate another person, bypass access controls or attempt to obtain protected content without authorization.

Acceptable use

Do not upload unlawful, infringing, malicious or deceptive material; harass users; spam; introduce malware; scrape protected content; interfere with the service; or use the professional community for prohibited political, religious or abusive discussions. Community moderation decisions may restrict or remove access where necessary.

Intellectual property

Original OSC Hydro Academy content, branding, course structure and software are protected. Access is a personal, limited and non-transferable licence; it is not ownership. Third-party manuals, books, trademarks and links remain the property of their respective owners and are provided only where authorized, licensed, public domain or linked to an official source.

User and expert content

You retain ownership of content you submit, while granting OSC Hydro Academy the rights needed to host, display, review, market and deliver it through the service. You confirm that you own the content or have all required permissions. Expert submissions may be reviewed, rejected or removed for quality, safety or legal reasons.

Prices, payments and refunds

Prices, revenue shares, taxes, payment methods and refund terms will be presented before a paid transaction. A disabled or “coming soon” checkout does not create a purchase agreement. Access may be withheld where payment is incomplete, reversed or fraudulent.

Certificates

Certificates show completion and assessment results within OSC Hydro Academy. They are not academic degrees, professional licences, IMCA approvals or guarantees of employment unless a course page explicitly states otherwise.

Availability and liability

We work to keep the platform accurate and available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or that all content is error-free. To the extent permitted by law, OSC Hydro Academy is not liable for indirect losses or operational decisions made from educational content.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations, security threats, fraud, abuse or legal requirements. You may request account deletion at any time.
